Desert Skye Pipes & Drums

Desert Skye was originally Clark County Celts and was created by Fred Marshe, Tony Bakerink, and Mason McNinch III back in the early part of 1999. At that time, Fred had one student (Liz Lenox), and one bass drummer (Bonnie Marshe). A few months later, Daniel Packer joined. Due to personal reasons, Mason had left the band, and the Marshe's moved to Florida. All that remained was Tony Bakerink, Liz Lenox, and Daniel Packer. They decided to stick it out, and in December of 1999, they created Desert Skye Pipes and Drums. They had their first elections with Daniel Packer as President and Pipe Major, and Tony Bakerink as Vice President and Drum Sergeant.
