The Good Old Days

Here are some pictures from the inception of the band in 1999, until about the end of 2006. We call these the Danny years. Danny Packer served as the first Pipe Major of Desert Skye Pipes & Drums. He helped the band become a 501(c)3/not-for-profit organization and started the band down the road to competition and promoting Scottish and Irish musical culture in Southern Nevada. In 2006, Danny went back to school at UNLV to get his MBA and turned the band over to then Pipe Sergeant, Andrew Fusco. Below are some images from those good old days of piping and drumming!
